SENIOR GRAD NIGHT! VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE DURING SENIOR ACTIVITIES

1) Board Walk Parkway Bowl: Unlimited: Bowling, laser tag, billards and even CARDS! Food, karokee, and a catered breakfast are all included. Price is only $30!

2) Family Fun Center (Kearny Mesa): batting cages, bumper boats, and an hour of sodas and pizza. Price is $45.

Voting will be held Wednesday and Friday of this week and all information including price is tentative and subject to change.

What's the latest?

Alpha +Seniors: If you have received 5 or more Alpha + Awards during your high school career stop by the VP's office to sign up for an opportunity for a special award, Hunter's Heroes.  Come by ASAP..

Senior Graduation Information: Graduation will be on Friday, June 10th at 9:00 a.m. at the SDSU Open Air Theater.  See graduation page for details.

Career Colleges: Seniors-visit www.imagine-america.org to check out participating Career Colleges and find out what it takes to qualify for a $1000 Imagine America scholarship.

Scholarship Info: If you are a senior planning to attend any of the following colleges please see Mrs. Pratt for scholarship information: VMI, UC Davis, UCLA, U. of N. Colo., Colo. State U., Cal State Fullerton, Chico State (Music), Antioch College, Drexel U., Johnson & Wales U., Kettering U., Long Island U., Northeastern U., Pace U., Rochester Institute of Technology, U. of Cincinnati, or U. of Waterloo, DeVry U., Boston U., U. of the Pacific, and Wells College.

Seniors: If you would like to speak with a Grossmont College Counselor regarding community college or transfer programs please sign up in the Guidance Center for an appointment. Counselor Dave Dillon visits West Hills the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 8:30-12:00.

Student Tutors Needed: If you would like to tutor local elementary and/or middle school students, come in and pick up a permission slip from the Career Center.  After you return a completed permission slip, your name and phone number will be added to the list of students interested in tutoring.  No one student is recommended over another; the school simply provides the names of students that match a particular area of need.  It is up to you to establish a meeting place and fee.  For more information, see Mrs. Williams in the Career Center during break.
